The design, construction and operation of processes in which raw materials undergo chemical or physical changes into useful products for humanity constitute the essence of Chemical Engineering. Although the beginning of Chemical Engineering is based on petroleum refining and petrochemicals, it covers the main application areas of chemical engineering in food and beverage, medicine, paper, plastic, water treatment, electricity generation, textile, semiconductors, perfume and cosmetics, detergent, paint, fertilizer, cement industries.

The foundation date of our department is 1968. With the division of our university in 1993, our department transferred to Eskişehir Osmangazi University and after a four-year hiatus, it started operating again in 1997 at Anadolu University Iki Eylul Campus. Our department continues its educational activities under the name of Eskişehir Technical University, which was established with the Law No. 7141 published in the Official Gazette No. 30425 dated May 18, 2018. Education in our department; It is provided by 6 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, 7 Doctor Instructors, 1 Lecturer Dr., 6 Research Assistants, 1 Technician. Our annual quota is 72 students. The Language of education is 30% English.

 

Vision: To be a department that uses all the possibilities of positive science, respects ethical values ​​and the environment, constantly renews itself, responds to the expectations of the industry and society, and has national and international recognition.

 

Mission: To train chemical engineers who have a good grasp of the fundamentals of science, can use contemporary knowledge and technology, have assimilated our core values, think analytically, and perform their profession in the best way possible.
