The General Aim of Internship: To provide chemical engineering students with professional experience by applying the knowledge and skills they have acquired through education and training in companies. Eskişehir Technical University Chemical Engineering Department students are obliged to complete laboratory and business internships during their four-year undergraduate education.

The Aim of Laboratory Internship: To learn about the equipment in the laboratory, the analyses performed for production and quality control, and the theory and principles underlying these analyses, and to interpret the results as a chemical engineer.

The Aim of Business Internship: To enable students to get to know the company where they are interning, and to learn about the production, process, and operation steps that extend from raw materials to the final product and the factory's capacity.
